LPC Humane Society Thrift Store
Support homeless animals by shopping and donating to our Thrift Store. Our store generates important revenue that supports our mission to enhance and protect the lives of companion animals. Donated furniture, household items and clothing are just a few of the items you can purchase to help pets. If you would like to schedule a large furniture pick-up, please call (970) 385-4322 x155. Together, we can help them, one paw at a time.

Donate to La Plata County Humane Society
Gently used items are always needed for sale at our Thrift Store. Your generous donations provide vital services to the homeless animals in our care, and your donation is tax-deductible. We feature designer labels, quality household goods, collectibles and a wonderful array of toys and games in our children’s room!
We accept donations that are new or gently used. All items need to be in good condition with moderate wear and tear. Electronics need to be fully functional as we have limited ability to store, clean, mend or repair items.
We appreciate your donations greatly. Here are some additional donation items to consider:
- Cars, boats, ATV’s, motorcycles and trailers (with keys and title)
- Real estate (homes and land)
- Estate sale inventory
