We have rebranded what used to be know as “Kids Kamp” to a new “Student Immersion Program”. During this experience, students age 12-16 will be able to learn about different departments of La Plata County Humane Society and receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. If your student is planning on having an internship with us in the future, this program is a prerequisite.
We’re encouraging students that have done the program before to let others have a chance this year, so that they can also have future internship opportunities. Second-year students are welcome to register and be added to our waitlist in case there is still space available for them to participate again.
