This 90-minute workshop is intended to set individuals up with the tools and strategies needed to overcome their issues. Workshops are held at the La Plata County Humane Society, at 5pm and last 90-minutes. Free to attend, no dogs – people only.

All workshops are instructed by Marcy Eckhardt, Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Executive Director of pranaDOGS Behavior & Rehab Center will be walking dog owners through how to help their dogs overcome one of the most common problems faced: Dog Reactivity. Dogs reacting badly toward other dogs (or people) can be scary, dangerous and cause folks to stop walking the dogs completely. It also makes us feel incompetent when communicating with our best friend – something no one wants. “The solutions aren’t complex, but they do take patience and focused effort,” says Marcy. “the problem cannot be fixed without the dog owners making real effort. In this session we show them where to focus those efforts and share tips to achieve success.”
