Requirements:
•Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver’s License.
•Proof of Residency if License does not match your
current address.
•If you currently own any other dogs, then you must
bring them in to meet with the potential adoptee.
•”Special Needs” dogs require a home visit. You must
live in La Plata County and have a 6ft fence.

Puppies(6 months and under) $100.00
Adult Dogs(6 months to 9 years) $79.00
Senior Dogs(Over 9 years) $50.00

Small Breed Puppies(under 20lbs
and 6 months and under) $200.00
Adult Small Breed(6 months to
4 years) $150.00

Purebred Dogs & Puppies Prices vary

You may put a hold on a dog, but you must have a
completed application and the hold is only for 24hrs.
A hold fee is $15.00 and does not go towards the
adoption fee.
